A place to grow

We are a men's support group meeting each Saturday from 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM via ZOOM and face-to-face at Saints Luke & James Episcopal Church, 4557 Colfax Avenue South, Minneapolis, MN 55419 (2nd floor).  Use our Contact-Us form to receive a Zoom-link. New to teleconferencing?  Start here

Our purpose is to provide fellowship and support for men who are interested in positive change within themselves, within their relationships, and within their communities.

We value sharing our feelings openly and honestly with one another; listening without judging or giving advice; supporting those who risk change; and celebrating with those who do change.

What we do

Everyone ages but not everyone grows.  Growth is a conscious decision that requires a time, a place, and support.  Our group provides all that so we might continue the growth in ourselves, in our families, and in our communities.
Self-ful

Why it's important

Each day others define us as workers, consumers, spouses, etc. Consider the flight attendant's cautionary to, "put on your own mask before assisting others". We're of little use to others until we take care of ourselves.

How it's done

Provide a safe, regular place to meet and great things can happen. For many of us, this is a place where we are heard without judgment and where questions are answered sincerely.
Exclusively Men

Why just men?

Just as there are conversations only possible among women, so it is with men. A mixed group radically changes the dynamics.

There is a local women's group.

"At first, I thought I had nothing in common with these guys.
A year later, I realized I had everything in common."
